WE BELIEVE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Occupational therapists can make a difference not only in the lives of people in the criminal justice system but also in promoting occupationally just and fair sentencing and incarceration policies.

WE CREATED THIS WEBSITE TO NETWORK AND CONNECT.
This website was developed with an overriding purpose to connect people and to create a space to share resources, knowledge and experiences that may move occupational therapy practice forward.

We encourage practitioners, educators, researchers and students with a strong commitment to
meeting the occupational needs of people within the criminal justice system to join together,
to share success and to problem solve barriers.

WE INVITE YOU TO CONTRIBUTE CONTENT.
A primary goal of this website is to inform.  We invite you to contribute materials that can benefit us all.
Each section, Programs, Research, Education, etc includes a form where you can load
materials to help build this site.  Please do so!

This website was originally designed and developed by Dr. Jaime Muñoz and Meredith Karavolis, M.S. OTR/L at the Duquesne University Department of Occupational Therapy. It is maintained by Dr. Muñoz and Dr. Abigail Catalano of Duquesne University in collaboration with partners at Pacific University, the University of Findlay, St. Louis University and Saint Louis Community College.
